Nate Hastings has gone through many personal and professional ups and downs recently on The Young And The Restless. But hey, that’s the biggest part of being a mainstay on a daytime soap! Yet, it seems, Nate is about to receive another shorted end of the stick in the upcoming episodes. However, the shocking life change could bring back a long-lost character!

The Young And The Restless spoilers confirm that Nate Hastings has a half-sibling. Amy Lewis indeed tells Nate that she had a son with his father – Nate Sr. Now, Amy wants Nate to mentor his OLDER half-brother, and help him get his life back on track. (As if suddenly having a half-brother wasn’t shock enough, that he now also has to fix his life? sheesh)

However, we have a feeling that this storyline runs deeper than just a superficial reunion of long-lost brothers. Could it be possible that another mommy is on her way back to Genoa City? Nate’s mother- Olivia Barber. It has been a long while since we last saw her on screen. But if we are to witness a twisted family reunion, why should Olivia miss out on it?

Olivia may take an instant dislike for this half-brother and may ask Nate to maintain his distance. While Nate may feel drawn to his half-sibling and may want to help him. However, considering that the new guy is “trouble”, we have a feeling dear Nate would live to regret it. Could it be possible that the new brother is in fact already involved in some crimes? Maybe, even Heather’s murder?
