And suddenly, we don’t just feel like we’re working for peanuts but mere peanut shellsYoung & Restless alum Alyvia Alyn Lind is raking in $75K an episode for Season 1 of Netflix’s upcoming Wayward, TMZ reports. Since her contract calls for her to appear in at least seven of the eight episodes, that translates to [does the math] more than half a million bucks.

The series, created by Canadian comedian Mae Martin and starring her and Toni Collette, explores the dark underbelly of the troubled teen industry in a town that is far more sinister than it appears on the surface. If the thriller is picked up for Season 2, Lind is guaranteed a five-percent raise.

You’ll recall that while recurring on the daytime drama, multi-tasker Lind guest-starred on everything from Transparent to 9-1-1 and played a young Dolly Parton in Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love. Since 2021, she’s also starred in Chucky, which continues the reign of terror of the killer doll from the 1980s cult-classic movie Child’s Play.
