It shows Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) trying to negotiate. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wants to chat with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) “woman to woman.”

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) meet with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins). Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) uses Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to strike at his enemy.

Y&R spoilers for the week of August 12 reveal that the preview clip starts off with Summer and Kyle. Phyllis was devastated and panicked to learn Summer asked Victor for help with the custody case.

Summer has a good feeling though and goes to meet Kyle. Even though Victor has urged Kyle to work things out, Summer has one demand. That demand is to cut someone out of Kyle’s life completely.

Kyle assumes that Summer is referring to Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). However, fans know that Summer is talking about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Next in the preview clip for the week of August 12, Phyllis and Lily have a little chat. It seems that Lily is enjoying a drink at the bar when Phyllis approaches. Phyllis doesn’t wait for an invitation, as usual.

Phyllis sits down and tells Lily that they need to chat “woman to woman.” Then, Phyllis adds to a guarded and apprehensive Lily that they have a lot to discuss.
