General Hospital Comings and Goings insist for fans to get ready for more of Jack Brennan on the soap. The latest casting news confirms that there will be major changes in who we see on the show. There is also a very interesting addition that is sure to make us all go “wow!”. The September 23, 2024, episode of the soap confirms a comeback, read on for all the details.

Jack Brennan Takes The Lead

Actor Charles Mesure who portrays Jack Brennan had been spilling his charm on GH on a recurrent basis for some time now. But now his name has been added to the General Hospital cast bio page. That simply means Charles might be getting the full-time role on the show.

The end credit on the September 20 episode officially added Charles Mesure to the role. For all the witty fans know, it simply means that he is now on contract for the role of Jack Brennan. It obviously meant that fans would get to see dedicated storylines for Jack and consequently more screen time.

The actor will get more screen time on the soap and now his character Jack also stands a chance for his long-awaited romance with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). After all, we all know how much he liked Carly, though things between the duo were slightly complicated. Would you like to see them united?

What’s Brewing For Jack?

In a recent interview with Daily Drama, the actor opened up about what he knows of the character. Opening up about it, and what’s next for his character, he says, “I’m not consulted before writing the story so I’m in the dark just as the audience”. The last time we saw Jack on screen was when he instructed Jason and Anna how to fly to East Africa.

Moreover, elaborating his experience on the show, the actor talked about his initial hesitation with the role. He mentioned how he considered romancing an attractive lead was not suitable for his age. But he was encouraged by the producer to go ahead and do the part.

He calls his experience amazing and points out how much he has learned about himself. He lauds co-star Laura Wright by calling her “so talented.” Adding to it he says, she is so talented that she could easily pick the tiniest parts he left while performing. He mentioned that he was impressed by her skills and was excited to work with her.

Terry Returns To The Hospital

In another casting news, Terry Randolph is set to rejoin the cast. Terry, played by Cassandra James, will be seen facing a furious Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). As per the storyline, Portia will not be in favor of Terry rehiring Brad in the lab and these two women will go head-to-head on that.

Other than being on the soap, Cassandra James has been busy doing some big projects as well. Recently, she shared some big news with her fans. She made a collaborative post on social media where she talked about her movie- Claude.

Penned down by Cassandra and Seis Steves, the film- Claude is based on how dating life looks for a trans woman. It is a little autobiographical, where the experiences are drawn from real life. Claude is a short film that talks about pervasive isolation that vastly affects the trans community.

This short film was screened at the crested butte film festival on the nineteenth of September and Cassandra shared details about the same in her post.
