Not Guilty Pleas Entered by Suspects in Johnny Wactor’s Shooting
The soap opera community is mourning the tragic loss of late General Hospital star Johnny Wactor. The actor was known for his role as Brando Corbin on the ABC soap. The 37-year-old was fatally shot while bravely trying to prevent a theft in downtown Los Angeles.

Suspects in Johnny’s Case Plead Not Guilty
The General Hospital actor drew his last breath in Joy’s arms. The Los Angeles police confirmed that Johnny was shot without provocation, with suspects fleeing the scene in a dark sedan. Two weeks later, four people were arrested in connection with the shooting. They are: Robert Isaiah Barceleau, Sergio Estrada, and Frank Olano, and Leonel Gutierrez.
Moreover, they have since pleaded not guilty to various charges, including murder, attempted robbery, and firearm possession. Barceleau, identified as the gunman, faces a potential life sentence without parole if convicted. The preliminary hearing for Olano, Estrada, and Barceleau is scheduled for October 16. Meanwhile, Gutierrez is expected to enter his guilty plea by September 11.
