GH Spoilers: Hottest Storyline Of The Previous Week – Carly Goes Free
General Hospital spoilers tease that this was quite the week for the residents of Port Charles.
While Kristina Davis-Corinthos’ (Kate Mansi) medical drama has been discussed extensively elsewhere, this entry will discuss the other big happening this week in Port Charles.
As viewers know, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been forced to work undercover for the FBI because Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) threatened to play an audio recording of Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) admitting to running the Corinthos Organization during the time that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) was believed to be dead.
General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan helped take down the Pikeman Group
With the help of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Jason gave Cates a satellite phone owned by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) with enough evidence to take Valentin and the entire Pikeman Group down.
Cates was angry that Valentin got away and blamed Jason for it. But Jason stood his ground, but Cates wasn’t having it.
He planned to send Jason on another mission unless he provided evidence against Cates real target, Sonny. Jason refused and was about to be sent on yet another mission when Carly intervened.
GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer couldn’t bear to watch Jason Morgan leave again
Rather than let Jason leave once again, Carly told Cates to go ahead and arrest her. Cates did exactly that and Carly went was arrested.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) stopped Jason from leaving. Carly went to her arraignment, not even knowing for sure if she would make bail.
The US Attorney General’s counsel arrived to prosecute but it was soon revealed that the evidence against Carly had gone missing. That meant all charges against Carly were dropped!
General Hospital Spoilers – What happened to the recording of Carly Spencer’s confession?
Carly and Jason are now both free of Cates’. They suspected that Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) found a way to delete the recording remotely, but Spinelli admitted that he had nothing to do with it although he had tried many times.
Meanwhile, it looks as though Carly’s guardian angel is actually Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) who is back with the WSB.
If that’s the case. Look for Carly and Brennan to cross paths sooner rather than later and may even have a romantic connection.
What do you think?
Are you glad Jason is finally free from the FBI? Were you surprised the charges against Carly were dropped? Did Brennan destroy the evidence against Carly? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital, airing weekdays on ABC.
