Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings has breaking news for the fans. Connie Viniski’s storyline has come to end at least for now and Julie Dove who portrays her has bid farewell to the show. The actress has shared a sweet and emotional message for her fans on the wake of her exit. To know what Julie has to say, stay tuned till the end.

Julie Dove’s Last Day on Set

On September 23, Julie Dove took to Instagram and posted a prerecorded video of herself from February 14. In the video she shared her last moments from the set and a special message for the fans.

By looking at the video we all can tell how long she has waited for this moment. The episode aired on September 23 featured Connie’s last moments on Days which obviously was taped way earlier. So that’s when Julie taped her message for the fans. Now as Connie has served her time on the screen the actress has made the video public on social media.

She began the video by saying, “It’s Wednesday, February 14th, and I’m finishing my time as Connie for now. You’ve probably seen today’s episode, and I’m going to Bayview. Hopefully, they’ll visit me, and maybe I’ll run into other Salem residents there. My dream is for Connie to have therapy with Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).”

Further about her last day, she said- “I wrote some ‘thank you’ notes and received a heartfelt note from Judi Evans (Bonnie). Also, Armando, my lovely hair stylist, gifted me a gluten-free cupcake, which was divine”. The actress mentioned that Jill, the photographer, took a picture of her in the Brady’s Pub which she always wanted. She mentioned Janet the Co-Executive producer of DOOL thanked her when she performed her last act which was with Elia. She called her last scenes funny because the scenes she filmed on the last day wasn’t the one that will air last, but the one before.”

In her last scenes, Connie faces a grim fate as the trail of murders is exposed. She was the murdered her ex-husband, Bobby Stein/Everett Lynch (Blake Berris). Not only this, but she also stabbed her boyfriend, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Now as on the September 23 episode, all her crimes were exposed, commissioner Jada Hunter is ardent to put Connie behind the bar. She has prepared a tough case to imprison her for lifetime.

Though Jada aims to punish Connie by sending her off to jail, the last episode features a delusional Connie. She imagined Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) in the Salem Police Department interrogation room. In her imagination, Li Shin says that he has been arrested for helping her. So, Connie tells Li to stay quiet, she will fix everything. In her delusion Li goes on to express his faith in her because she’s so amazing. Then this imaginary conversation turns into a love confession between Li and Connie. Soon after she snaps back to reality and expresses her love for Li, she also begs him to not leave her. Jada, who is watching Connie in a delusional state, tells fellow Paulina that she will not go to jail but rather Bayview.

Message for the Fans

In her farewell video, Julie also mentioned her journey as an actress and what it meant for her to work on her favorite soap. She shared that acting was her dream since she was 13, she did her degree in drama but did not pursue acting until the age of 31. Now she is 54 and she finds it amazing to be living her dream.

In the end of the video, she encouraged her fans to follow their heart, whether it is a job or just a hobby. She says that being true to yourself brings immense joy in our life so one should not give up on their dream. She also thanked her fans for their constant love and support throughout her time on the soap.

By the end Julie cheers all the members of Days of Our Lives for their hard work and efforts. She expresses gratitude to be a part of the show.
