Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that fans are finally learning more about Clyde Weston’s (James Read) leverage over Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) and “Abigail DiMera” (AnnaLynne McCord).

In DOOL’s September 19 episode, Clyde made it clear that he expects “Abigail” to marry Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and score him the DiMera fortune.

If Mark can’t help “Abigail” accomplish that mission, then neither one of them will ever see their mother alive again.

Of course, “Abigail,” Mark, Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) and Felicity Greene’s (Kennedy Garcia) parents were previously believed to have perished in a car accident.

Although their father may truly be deceased, that’s clearly not the case when it comes to the Greene siblings’ mom.

Now that Days viewers know this woman is alive, we have to consider who she might be and how else she might fit into the story.

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) brought something up to Clyde that’s worth taking a closer look at.

John Black (Drake Hogestyn) was kidnapped following his visit to Catharina’s (Ellie Patrikios) grave, so he was taken all the way from Greece to Poplar Bluff.

Steve’s struggling to understand the connection, especially since John was held in the same place where Chad and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) wound up looking for Abigail.

Clyde tried to explain all that away, but Steve wasn’t buying his excuses and suspected there’s some piece of the puzzle he’s missing. What if Catharina herself is the link between these Days storylines?

John has been drowning in guilt over killing Catharina back when he was “The Pawn,” but what if her death was faked? Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) was a pretty terrible human being, so maybe Catharina came up with a plot to escape her abusive father.

If Catharina actually ran away, changed her name and started a brand-new life, perhaps she ultimately became a mother to the Greene children.

Once Catharina was in a car accident many years later, Clyde may have faked her death all over again while secretly saving her.

If John had stayed in Greece to poke around, he might’ve stumbled across evidence that would put him on the path to the whole truth.

Maybe Clyde couldn’t take the risk that John the private investigator would put it all together, so he just had him kidnapped and halted any clues that might’ve surfaced.

If Catharina really is the mystery mom here, then John may finally experience the relief of knowing he didn’t kill her after all.

John and Steve might even team up to help reunite Catharina with her family in the end.

Regardless, our Days predictions point to some twists and turns when it comes to mama drama that’s coming up!
