Days of our Lives Spoilers: EJ DiMera Axed – Brother to Blame

This week’s DOOL spoilers confirm EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) gets blasted back in a shocking explosion. But it looks like Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), who’s a target, survives. Then, she snatches his coveted District Attorney position.

This week, Connie Viniski (Julie Dove) rampages, planting a bomb to kill Melinda and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). Meanwhile, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is out for revenge against his big brother, EJ.

According to confirmed Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, Stefan contacts Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) with some juicy information. Although he might’ve been better served by revealing EJ knew about the drug trade, Stefan revealed EJ was in on the baby stealing plan.

Telling Paulina that her D.A. is dirty might not be enough to get Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) to arrest EJ. But it’s definitely grounds for firing him. Paulina confronted EJ DiMera who fought back, but he’s doomed as DA!

DOOL Spoilers: Melinda Trask’s Terrible Week

Connie confronts Gabi in the DiMera mansion, right in front of Stefano DiMera’s (formerly Joseph Mascolo) portrait. That explains why EJ is so close by when the bomb detonates. The big question is, where’s Melinda Trask?

Turns out Melinda is tied up downstairs with Gabi where the bomb’s set. But Melinda Trask survives, per official Days of our Lives spoilers for the week of September 23rd. After Melinda lives through that ordeal, Paulina offers her the District Attorney job.

I expect Melinda will probably take the D.A. job. But I also wonder if one of her first tasks will be to prosecute the former District Attorney for his crimes. Melinda would love to throw EJ behind bars.

However, Melinda Trask also has her job at DiMera Enterprises waiting for her. Remember, Kirsten hired her and Melinda never resigned. Her kidnapper sent Kristen a “screw you, I won’t work for you” text.

The pay was better than being the D.A. But the power lies in the District Attorney’s office. But the D.A.’s office at City Hall might seem a little safer to Melinda than the office where Connie once lurked on Days of our Lives.

EJ Furious Melinda Got His Job on Days of our Lives?

From EJ’s perspective, Gabi and Stefan targeted him and got him ousted from DiMera Enterprises. And now, his brother got him fired as District Attorney. It’s just an endless cycle of DiMera drama, with neither side getting anywhere because they sabotage each other.

Regardless of whether Melinda accepts the job or not, EJ DiMera is fired. And he can thank his brother for that. So, I suspect EJ changes his mind about rejecting Gabi. He might pursue her for a little more payback on his baby brother over this job drama on Days of our Lives.

Stefan may push EJ too far with this plan to get him fired. After EJ is fired as District Attorney, there’s no telling what havoc he might wreak. No telling what he does next.

One thing I do know is that I’m looking forward to seeing exactly how EJ DiMera hits back when Melinda Trask takes his job.
