Days Of Our Lives News: Major Development In Arianne Zucker’s Lawsuit Against The Soap
According to Rolling Stone, a judge has granted Arianne Zucker (ex-Nicole Walker, Days of Our Lives) the okay to “move ahead with a claim that seeks to bar a former [DAYS] producer from any future harassment in the industry.”
The actress first started on the soap in 1998 and has played the role of Nicole on and off over the years until she wrapped up her run this past July 29.
She filed a lawsuit this past February against former executive producer of Days, Albert Alarr, as well as Ken Corday, and Corday Productions (the company that produces the soap.)
Days Of Our Lives News: The Actress Can Move Forward
This decision was made by a L.A. County judge on Thursday, August 8.
It was noted that Zucker could move forward with the “disputed portion of her complaint that’s seeking a formal order”, which would bar Alarr from harassing behavior at any workplace he may be in, at a future time.
Zucker’s legal case claims intentional infliction of emotional distress and sexual harassment; however, it’s the judicial order under a California business code section that Alarr’s attorney’s dispute wasn’t needed as he isn’t employed currently.
Still, the judge did not agree this.
Judge Kristin S. Escalante wrote in her ruling, as per the Rolling Stone report, that the ‘Plaintiff has alleged a long-standing course of conduct by Mr. Alarr. An inference arises from the facts alleged that the behavior would be likely to recur’.
The judge pronounced regardless of if Alarr is working or not, should Zucker prove her claims, an injunction is deemed appropriate.

Rolling Stone reports that Zucker’s lawyer made the following statement after this ruling, “Ms. Zucker wants to ensure that no other woman can be harmed at the hands of Alarr again, and I will fight to make that happen.”
The next court date for the case is scheduled for some time in October.
