The Bold and the Beautiful star Sean Kanan, aka Deacon, has been in the acting game for quite some time. He first rose to fame back in 1987 with a role in the television series Werewolf. Next, he landed the role of Mike Barnes in The Karate Kid Part III. It was a role that would cement his status in Hollywood. The Bold and the Beautiful actor hit a milestone recently! It all kicked off when a user on X/Twitter  shared a GIF of Kanan’s character Mike Barnes from Cobra Kai. They wrote, “It’s go time.” Interestingly, this simple post sparked quite a reaction from Sean. He exclaimed, “I need this GIF! I’ve arrived, Hollywood, ya hear me! I’ve finally got a GIF.”

Getting a GIF of his character was a milestone for the soap star. It was a sign screaming he had truly made it in the digital age! Additionally, the fun didn’t stop there as another user jumped into the comments with another GIF of Kanan. This one was a blast from the past featuring Barnes and Ralph Macchio’s Daniel from The Karate Kid Part III.

Michael T Berry posted yet another GIF from the same flick, proving that Kanan’s character indeed left a lasting impression. Anyway, fans of Kanan know him well from his long stint as Deacon on both B&B and Y&R. Deacon Sharpe, a character originally from B&B, has been portrayed by Sean since November 1, 2000. Moreover, he came back to the role multiple times over the years.

Back in 2022, fans were treated to a special crossover event between both the CBS soaps. It involved  Deacon interacting with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). It marked another unforgettable moment in Sean’s soap opera career. However, his talents aren’t limited to soap operas alone. Kanan is popular for his role as Jude on Sunset Beach and has over 70 credits to his name.

Furthermore, He even played Sam on Studio City for three years, earning him a Daytime Emmy Award in 2021. So, what’s next for this versatile actor?
