Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that the drama is about to hit the fan in the land of Genoa City. Currently, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) knows Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is up to no good, but when he finds out he recruited his son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to work for Glissade, all heck will break loose. How will Jack retaliate?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Is Pulling Out All The Stops

Y&R spoilers indicate that Victor has a master plan, one that includes his son Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). The Moustache has been trying to entice Adam to give up his co-CEO spot at Newman Enterprises to head up Newman Media.

The executive reshuffle would see Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) as the head honcho of the organization, in hopes that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) would step down from Newman Media in the interim, so Adam could lead things in that division.

Victor knows he needs someone who’s on the same (dark) wave lengthens as him to unravel the plan he has against Jack. He’s likely hoping that Adam won’t mind using Newman Media to expose Jack and Jabot, but can Victor bet that his son will do what he wants him to?

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Is Struggling

Adam initially rejected the idea of going to Newman Media. For one, Victor wouldn’t reveal who he was targeting with his revenge plan, and the second reason is that he has so much going on with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

On top of everything else, he and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) recently had a one-nighter, which has Adam reeling with guilt.

Y&R spoilers for the week of July 8-12 reveal that Victor will give his son a new assignment. Will he finally convince Adam to head Newman Media?

He may tell Adam his revenge plot against Jack, or Adam may harbor a guess, especially since the news about Glissade and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will hit in the days ahead.

Adam will likely not be on board about ruining Jabot and Jack. Jack’s always been a friend to Adam, and he might not want to cross that line.

In addition, as Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) now works for Marchetti, which falls under the Jabot umbrella, he may not want to do anything to hurt her future. After all, he’s just cheated on her, the last thing he wants to do is rip her career from her too!

Could Victor’s plan against Jabot and Jack rub Adam the wrong way? Could he turn to Jack and tell him what his dad has planned?

He is feeling guilty about his one-nighter with Chelsea, which could either have him diving into his darker side or doing all he can to do something right/good for a change.

If Adam does go to Jack, could Abbott offer him a co-CEO job of his own? It’s clear that Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) does need some guidance in her power position.

Plus, in doing so, he won’t only strike back at Kyle for his betrayal, but also the Moustache by snagging Victor’s son to work for him.
