Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease a murderer will go after another victim-does Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) have a target on her back?

Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) murderer has been revealed as none other than Connie Viniski (Julie Dove) and the unassuming murderer approached Melinda in the square!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Connie Was Obsessed with Li

There is no doubt that Connie was obsessed with Li, after that one blind date that bombed-she blamed his being hung up on Melinda, and she said so.

She even confronted Melinda after Li’s murder, blaming her for his death-it was a scary situation indeed, having only seen Connie the one time.

Melinda was visibly cautious and suspicious as Connie came and spoke to her in Horton Town Square, supposedly to apologize, after many months.

Connie also spoke to Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Cherie Jiminez) as she spotted her with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) in the square.

She congratulated her on her exoneration and was happy the real murderer had been revealed-saying she knew Li very well; Rafe found it suspicious.

DOOL Spoilers – Connie Might Know Melinda Dated Li To Get Information Against Him

Connie might know that Melinda only dated Li to get information against him-her blind date with him happened after he and Melinda “broke up”.

Li was under investigation at the time for crimes in connection to Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) and against Gabi, who had married him under a hypnotic drug-assisted amnesia. Li couldn’t stand losing her to Stefan, and Connie couldn’t stand losing Li to Melinda.

Flashback scenes showed Connie entering Li’s old apartment apparently with a key and stabbing him in the back as he was texting someone or getting ready to call them.

More than likely, at the time, Connie assumed he was calling Melinda and she knew what she had to do-he paid with his life-now, will Melinda?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Does Melinda Have A Target On Her Back?

The question now is, does Melinda have a Connie-shaped target on her back, since Connie showed up after many months, likely having heard of Gabi’s release.

Connie may figure that even though Gil Carter (David S. Lee) was the real murderer of record, somehow Melinda will tie her to the crime.

Connie must obviously be out of the loop because Melinda, although being asked to take EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurreriegel) place as District Attorney, Melinda turned down Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) offer.

Even so, Connie’s twisted motive for killing Li and blaming Melinda for his death is still in play. If it wasn’t, then she wouldn’t have reappeared out of the woodwork upon Gabi’s release-and Melinda still needs to be punished!
